Hurghada Port is located at the west coast of the Red Sea near the intolerance of Suez Bay, 370 Km South Suez City (33" 50' W, 37" 13.5 E)

The importance of this port comes from its special location providing tourism & transportation services since the port's main activity is the transportation of passengers & tourists.

The following are the regular line routings-taking place in this port:

  • Hurghada / Doba (KAS)
  • Hurghada / Sharm El sheikh / Elate
  • Hurghada / Safaga / Sharm El sheikh.
  • In addition to vessels & yachts which call at the port regularly.

Services & facilities:

  • 150 M length Terminal with a draft of 12 Meters Length
  • The southern Terminal which is a wooden Terminal Support by steel bars, and used for berthing of fishing boats and some Touristic Activities.
  • The Northern Terminal Which is wooden Terminal also as a " T'' Shape.
  • Storage Yards: the port has storage yards of more than 2000 square Meters.
  • Ship supply: fuel bunkering and fresh water supply using port's barges.

Future development

The Red Sea Ports authority is planning to develop all their port, among them Hurgada, including the development of all the port terminals and the establishment of a Marina for visiting yachts and passenger vessels
